Easy Installation: Encore really does interpret solid surfacing for todays kitchens. Installation is carried out simimlar to laminate worktops. Encore worktops are supplied with two factory finished edges and front edge. Breakfast Bar worktops are edged on all four sides encorporating a sqaure edge and a curved one.
The surface is already prepared to a 320 grit finish which gives a lovely semi matt appearance. It can be polished on site to a high gloss finish. Maintaining this finish will need a periodic application of Countertop Magic.
Corner joints are the real strength of Encore. Simply cut joints as if you are working on a laminate top, apply the special colour matched adhesive and sand the worktop to a virtual seamless finish.The finished joint is inconspicuous and very hygienic
